Embarking on new paths requires motivated people who think things through and tackle and solve problems. It takes a certain type of drive to be able to develop sustainable solutions in a server environment as large as ours.

You provide the drive and we provide the rest – in the form of infrastructure with more than 15,000 CPU cores, over 32TB RAM and more than 5PB storage capacity. Because we have such a broad customer base, you’ll also be working with numerous other software systems: Apache, Nginx, MySQL (Percona), Elasticsearch, Redis, Memcached, Icinga, Zabbix, ELK Stack, Java, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Tomcat, Varnish, F5 Loadbalancer, iptables, Xtrabackup, OpenStack, Kubernetes and many more.

If you’ve got a sense of humour and are quick-witted, you’ll quickly fit right in with our team.

You can expect to attend events such as

  • DockerCon in Austin
  • ElasticON in San Francisco
  • Velocity in London
  • The World Hosting Days in Rust
  • KubeCon in Berlin

… where we exchange ideas and experiences with the community and bring home the latest trends in the industry.

In addition to key requirements such as team cohesion, Mate tea and good coffee, as well as a wide range of food options and flexible working hours, you’re also sure to find the following at SysEleven:

We want to keep moving forwards. This means that constructive criticism is welcome whatever your place in the team, since we work on the principle of communicating as equals and letting the better argument win. It also means that we will only develop as an organisation at the same pace as each one of us, which is why we support one another in various ways. This includes external training sessions, conferences, sharing our knowledge in house and anything else that will help you to complete your mission at SysEleven successfully and to develop at a personal level.

As a result, there are some very sharp minds working for us, so we won’t shy away from letting the technical experts make the technical decisions either. In other words, you should take responsibility for contributing and implementing your ideas and really making your mark. And it’s OK if you make mistakes!
